1. Hold. Your deposit holds this vehicle for 72 hours from the time we receive it. During that time we will not sell it to anyone else. 2. Credit. If you buy the vehicle, the full deposit is credited toward the price. 3. Full refund. We refund your deposit in full if (a) you cancel within 24 hours of paying; (b) the vehicle is sold or otherwise no longer available; or (c) you apply for financing that we offer on this vehicle and are not approved. 4. Deposit kept. If you cancel after 24 hours, or the hold ends and you have not completed the purchase, for any reason other than (b) or (c), we keep the deposit. Holding a vehicle takes it off the market and costs us other possible sales, a loss that is hard to measure. You and we agree the deposit is a reasonable estimate of that loss and is not a penalty. The deposit will never be more than $500 or 20% of the vehicle's price, whichever is less. 5. Refunds are paid the way you paid. Card refunds can take 5 to 10 business days to appear. Cash and app payments are refunded by the same app, or by check. 6. This deposit does not sell you the vehicle or guarantee financing. A sale happens only when you and Lakewood Auto sign the paperwork. 7. You agree we may call, text and email you about this reservation.
