1. All Vehicle Sales Are Final

All vehicle sales made by Lakewood Auto LLC are final once the buyer signs the Purchase Agreement or Controlled Use Finance Contract. This means:

  • No returns
  • No refunds
  • No exchanges
  • No cooling‑off period

Georgia law does not require dealerships to accept vehicle returns after purchase.

2. No Buyer’s Remorse or Preference‑Based Returns

Lakewood Auto LLC does not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Dislike of vehicle features
  • Wanting a different vehicle
  • Family or financial disagreements
  • Any form of buyer’s remorse

Once the contract is signed, the sale is complete.

3. “As‑Is” Vehicle Sales

Unless a written warranty is provided at the time of sale, all vehicles are sold “AS‑IS.” This means:

  • The buyer accepts the vehicle in its current condition
  • Lakewood Auto LLC is not responsible for mechanical issues after purchase
  • Repairs, maintenance, or breakdowns are the buyer’s responsibility

Customers are encouraged to obtain an independent inspection before purchase.

4. No Refunds for Mechanical Issues After Purchase

Because vehicles are sold AS‑IS:

  • Mechanical failures
  • Electrical issues
  • Engine or transmission problems
  • Wear‑and‑tear components
  • Diagnostic costs
  • Towing or rental costs

are not grounds for a return or refund.

5. Third‑Party Service Contracts & Warranties

If you purchase a third‑party extended warranty or service contract:

  • All claims must be filed directly with the provider
  • Lakewood Auto LLC cannot approve, deny, or influence coverage
  • Refunds follow the provider’s policies, not ours
  • We do not refund warranty purchases once activated or submitted

6. Deposits & Hold Fees

Deposits placed to hold a vehicle are non‑refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing. Management may allow a deposit to be transferred to another vehicle at its discretion, but this is not guaranteed.

7. Down Payments

Down payments are non‑refundable once the Purchase Agreement or Controlled Use Finance Contract is signed. If a buyer chooses not to complete the purchase after signing, the down payment may be forfeited.

8. Financing Cancellations & Denials

If financing is denied after the vehicle has been delivered:

  • The vehicle must be returned immediately
  • Excess mileage, damage, or wear may result in additional charges
  • Any down payment or deposit may be forfeited if the buyer fails to comply
  • Refunds are not issued for financing denials

If financing is approved and the contract is signed, the sale is final.

9. Controlled Use Finance Contract Policies

For customers using Lakewood Auto’s Controlled Use Finance Contract:

  • Contract cancellation does not entitle the buyer to a refund
  • Repossession due to non‑payment or insurance lapse does not result in a refund
  • Payments made prior to repossession are non‑refundable
  • GPS/telematics installation fees are non‑refundable
  • Any recovery, towing, or repossession fees are the buyer’s responsibility

These terms protect the asset and ensure compliance with the contract.

10. Fees, Add‑Ons & Services Are Non‑Refundable

The following fees are non‑refundable once performed or signed:

  • GPS/telematics installation
  • Title and registration fees
  • Documentation fees
  • Optional service contracts
  • Down payments
  • Late fees
  • Processing fees
  • Diagnostic or inspection fees
  • Any labor or parts installed at customer request

11. Website Errors & Listing Accuracy

If a pricing or listing error occurs on LakewoodAuto.net:

  • Lakewood Auto LLC may correct the error
  • No refunds or returns will be issued based on inaccuracies
  • Correct pricing will be disclosed before signing any contract

12. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can work to resolve it. If a payment dispute or chargeback is filed after you sign a contract, Lakewood Auto LLC will respond by:

  • Providing signed contracts to the bank
  • Providing delivery confirmation
  • Providing documentation of the signed sale
  • Pursuing the remedies available under the law, if necessary

13. No Refunds for Delays Outside Our Control

Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by:

  • Banks or lenders
  • Title processing
  • Insurance companies
  • Parts availability
  • Third‑party vendors
  • Customer scheduling conflicts
