Important: Unless you receive a signed written warranty at the time of sale, every vehicle we sell is sold AS-IS. When a written warranty is provided, it overrides the AS-IS status only for the specific components it lists, and it must be signed by both you and Lakewood Auto LLC to be valid.

1. Purpose of This Written Warranty Policy

This Written Warranty Policy explains the types of warranties offered by Lakewood Auto LLC, the conditions required to maintain coverage, the components covered, and the limitations of each warranty. All written warranties must be signed at the time of sale to be valid.

Written warranties are available on select vehicles and may be included or offered at a discount for customers enrolled in the Controlled Use Finance Contract Program.

2. Types of Written Warranties Offered

Lakewood Auto LLC may offer one or more of the following written warranties:

A. Limited Powertrain Warranty

Covers:

  • Engine (internally lubricated parts)

  • Transmission (internally lubricated parts)

  • Drivetrain components

B. Short‑Term Mechanical Warranty

Typically 30–90 days. Covers specific mechanical components listed in the written warranty document.

C. Limited Component Warranty

May cover:

  • Starter

  • Alternator

  • Battery

  • Fuel pump

  • Sensors (only if explicitly listed)

D. Controlled Use Finance Contract Warranty

Available only to customers enrolled in the Controlled Use Finance Contract Program. May include:

  • Free oil changes

  • Extended powertrain coverage

  • Maintenance‑linked warranty extensions

  • Discounted repairs at approved facilities

Coverage varies by vehicle and contract terms.

3. Warranty Eligibility Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

  • Maintain full‑coverage insurance at all times

  • Follow required maintenance schedules

  • Use approved repair facilities designated by Lakewood Auto LLC

  • Keep GPS/telematics devices installed and active (if applicable)

  • Remain current on all payments (for Controlled Use Finance Contract customers)

  • Avoid misuse, abuse, or neglect of the vehicle

  • Report issues immediately when symptoms appear

Failure to meet these requirements may void the warranty.

4. Warranty Coverage Limitations

Written warranties provided by Lakewood Auto LLC only cover the components listed in the signed warranty document.

The following items are not covered unless explicitly stated:

  • Wear‑and‑tear items (brakes, tires, belts, hoses, fluids)

  • Cosmetic issues (paint, dents, upholstery, trim)

  • Electrical accessories (radio, windows, locks, lights)

  • Aftermarket modifications

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or neglect

  • Overheating due to lack of coolant

  • Damage caused by continued operation after a warning light appears

  • Towing, rental, or incidental costs

  • Diagnostic fees unless stated otherwise

5. Warranty Claim Process

To file a warranty claim, customers must:

  1. Contact Lakewood Auto LLC at 1‑404‑997‑2272

  2. Provide the written warranty document

  3. Bring the vehicle to Lakewood Auto LLC or an approved repair facility

  4. Allow Lakewood Auto LLC to inspect the vehicle

  5. Follow repair instructions provided by Lakewood Auto LLC

Unauthorized repairs performed without written approval will not be reimbursed and may void the warranty.

6. Controlled Use Finance Contract Warranty Rules

Customers enrolled in the Controlled Use Finance Contract Program may receive additional warranty benefits. These benefits are conditional upon:

  • On‑time payments

  • Maintaining required insurance

  • Compliance with mileage limits

  • Compliance with maintenance schedules

  • No tampering with GPS/telematics devices

  • No unauthorized repairs

If the Controlled Use Finance Contract is terminated or the vehicle is repossessed, all warranties immediately end, and no refunds are issued.

7. Warranty Duration

Warranty duration varies by vehicle and program. Typical durations include:

  • 30‑day limited warranty

  • 60‑day limited warranty

  • 90‑day limited warranty

  • 6‑month powertrain warranty (Controlled Use Finance Contract only)

The exact duration will be listed in the written warranty document.

8. Warranty Transferability

Written warranties offered by Lakewood Auto LLC are not transferable unless explicitly stated in writing.

9. Third‑Party Warranties

If a customer purchases a third‑party extended warranty:

  • Claims must be filed directly with the provider

  • Lakewood Auto LLC cannot approve or deny coverage

  • Refunds follow the provider’s policies

  • Lakewood Auto LLC is not responsible for provider decisions

10. No Implied Warranties

Unless a written warranty is provided, Lakewood Auto LLC disclaims all implied warranties, including:

  • Implied Warranty of Merchantability

  • Implied Warranty of Fitness for a Particular Purpose

Written warranties override AS‑IS status only for the components listed.

11. Limitation of Liability

Lakewood Auto LLC is not liable for:

  • Mechanical failures outside written warranty coverage

  • Electrical failures

  • Engine or transmission issues not covered by a written warranty

  • Towing or rental costs

  • Loss of use

  • Consequential damages
